17th recipe 50 Shades of Summer

It's been a great weekend weather wise. It rained beautifully in Bangalore city; this is the Bangalore I know and have grown up with.

This salad has been an interesting find. I love experimenting with new ingredients and this time it was with a purple cabbage. What I didn't realise was that the purple colour from the cabbage would be so overpowering and turn the whole salad into purple with specks of red from the tomato in different parts of the salad.

For me, personally this is an unusual salad with nuts etc and has different colourful bits to it. Each ingredient brings it's own quality and colour to it.
