This is the second in the series of 50 shades of Summer.
Neer Majjige is loosely translated as Water Buttermilk. This is a perfect drink to have around the house during summer! For this the more water you add the better, and no it will not dilute the flavours of the spices you add. This is usually made around Rama Navami, and is served all around Bangalore, along with Kosambri.
- Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until the curry leaves and chillies are tiny pieces. Serve Cold.
- I have used curd and water is 1:3 proportions.
- You could alter the number of chillies you add, I like it spicy that's why the number of chillies.
- Please use cold curd and well as cold water for best results, or you could serve it after refrigerating, or you could add ice to give you a cold glass of Neer Majjige.
